This vegan omelette is made with JUST Egg
Sometimes a small change in the way we prepare a dish we eat often makes a big difference! The same goes for this omelette, which if you make it as I tell you, you will understand how much fluffier it comes out compared to how you made it until now.
First you take 2 eggs or more if you want to make a bigger omelet and separate the yolks from the whites. Lightly beat the yolks with salt and pepper and beat the whites into a stiff meringue. You take a spoonful of the meringue and gently mix it with the yolks and put them in the container with the meringue.
You gently mix from bottom to top so that the eggs do not deflate and put the mixture in a non-stick pan that you have already heated to medium temperature and if you want, you have smeared it with 1 tsp. olive oil.
Cover with the lid and let the omelette cook until it gets a nice color on the underside. You don’t need to turn it over because the upper side has also been cooked by the steam, but if you want it to dry out on the other side as well, you can do it.
