Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
6 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flour
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or line an 8 inch square backing dish with parchment paper. Beat sugar and butter until creamy then gradually add the eggs, beating until the mixture is smooth and fluffly. Add the cocoa, vanilla and oil.
Then add the flour (with salt mixed in) in 2 or 3 parts, mixing well after each addition. Pour batter into pan and bake for about 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 16 small brownies or 12 big ones.
