Fruit and nut flavours are our favourite and this simple tea cake perfectly combines the two.

A sure way to make your Sunday afternoon even better is with a freshly baked cake paired with a cup of tea or coffee.

Ingredients 
4 eggs
1 cup almond flour
3/4 self raising flour
1 1/2 cup strawberries sliced
1/3 honey
1/4 olive oil
1/4 plain yogurt
1/4 milk
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
orange rind from one orange
chopped almonds

Directions:
Beat eggs and honey with an electric mixer until thick and pale. Add olive oil, plain yogurt, milk and vanilla and mix well.

Fold in almond and self raising flour and mix until just combined. Add strawberry slices.

Top with chopped almonds and bake on 180 for about 45 minutes.
