INGREDIENTS
500 g milk powder/Nido /Nespray
1 small nestle dessert cream
1/4 cup melted ghee
Mix above, cover and leave aside for 30 minutes. Mix in a grinder and use a sieve to make mixture resemble like breadcrumbs.
Chashni / sugar syrup:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
5 tblsp malai / fresh cream
Make syrup by boiling sugar and water . It should have a 1 string consistency when touched with thumb and forefinger.
Add the milk mixture and mix well . Keep stirring to make sure it doesn’t stick at the bottom.
The mixture should start leaving the sides of the pan once done. Remove in a tray and add elaichi powder and 4 tblsp coconut, essence or colour of your choice or leave as it is.
Use a non stick pan for easy mixing. once done set in a greased tray and sprinkle dry fruits like almonds and pistachios. Keep in fridge for few hours then cut pieces.
