Deep-fried chicken wings, marinated in yogurt with herbs, baked in the air fryer or in the oven.
For about 1 kg of wings, you will put in a bowl 100 g of strained yogurt, 1 tsp. smoked paprika, 2 tsp. olive oil, 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp. dry oregano and 1 tsp. honey. You marinate the wings for at least 3 hours or even the whole previous night in the fridge, covered with cling film.
You bake them in the air fryer at 200 degrees for 15 minutes, turn them over, brush them with whatever marinade is left in the bowl and bake them for 7-8 minutes until they are dry on the other side. Serve with lemon juice.
You can use the same marinade to marinate any piece of chicken, for chicken skewers or chopped strips of leg like gyros.
If you don’t have an air fryer, of course you can bake the wings in the oven at 200 degrees in the air for about 20 minutes and turn them over to dry out the other side.
