1 1/2 cup cake flour
1/2 cup semolina
2 tblsp sugar
Pinch of elaichi powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup yoghurt
Syrup :
1.5 cups sugar
1.5 cups water
Saffron
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Add all ingredients together and bind dough using yoghurt. Boil all ingredients of the syrup together till its slightly thick. Syrup should be hot when place in the dahiwaras .Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut desired shapes using a cutter.
Fry in hot oil till they puff up and are golden brown. Add in hot syrup and place in serving dish. Garnish with dry fruits and add more syrup if necessary.
