Ingredients
dough
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
3 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
130 grs. butter unsalted
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of water
Filling
3 or 4 pears peel and in slices
some lemon juice
130 grs. sugar or splenda
1 tablespoon of flour
1/2 cup of water
almonds in slices
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Butter a baking sheet or pan.
For the dough in a bowl put flour , salt and sugar mix well. Add butter and mix, finally add water and egg yolk.
Join until you have a ball with the dough. Set aside in a bowl and let for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the filling. In a bowl place the pears, cover with cold water and lemon juice.
Dry pears and place in a bowl and place the pears with the middle of sugar and the tablespoon of flour.
Mix well. Set aside.
On a flat surface place the dough between two sheets of waxed paper
Roll with a rolling pin into a circle the size you want.
Place the dough on the tart mold to be used.
Distribute in the center of sough the pears leaving 2 or 3 cm from edge to fold the dough
Fold the edges covering part of the filling . Bake for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven make a syrup with 1/2 cup sugar and a cup of water, make a light syrup and pour the syrup over the filling.
Return to oven and bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden around the edges.
Before serving, sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired. It can be served warm or cold.
