INGREDIENTS
2 packets of digestive biscuits
250 gr. melted margarine
candy from 2 cans of sugar or
2 fl. caramel sauce (cold and nicely thick) or 2 jars of prepared milk caramel
3 large bananas in slices
2 ermol of whipped cream (with 2-3 tbsp of powder optional)
it can also be done with a can of whipped cream, but for a richer result, 2 cans are better
grated chocolate and grated walnut
METHOD
Grind our cookies in a non-stick removable form.
Melt the margarine and add it to our grated biscuits to make the coating of the dessert. Knead to wet our cookies well and spread it evenly. Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
After the cookies have hardened within this twenty minutes, add the cold caramel on top and spread the banana slices evenly all over.
Cover with whipped cream and sprinkle walnuts and grated chocolate or whatever else you like on top.
In the fridge for at least 2-3 hours and we are ready!
*If you follow the “route” of the pot for the caramel, put as many cans of sugar upright as it will fit, need…need……let them cool calmly and store them outside the fridge for when you want them. They get absolutely nothing for a soooo long time.
*Another variation is instead of digestive to put two layers of ptipper type biscuits very lightly moistened in milk with a little brandy, if there are little bits leave the brandy aside even if it is negligible in quantity.
It goes without saying that in terms of taste it is better to whip cream into whipped cream and make our own caramel!
